The winning project for the 2008 Award was submitted by Sebastien Payen and Thibaut Scholasch for a business plan focusing on helping wineries capture data from vineyards with innovative sensors and analyzing this data to improve consistency, yield and quality of the wine.
The Fruition Sciences project really stood out for bringing new technology and innovation to a traditional industry.
